The session will cover the role of social media marketing as part of your overall online marketing activities. Beginning with an overview of social media as a phenomenon, the introduction will explain the evolution of social media and the role it can play in assisting in successful online marketing.

The focus will then switch to three of the most popular and diverse platforms - Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIN, and key note speakers will begin by outlining the key features of each tool; providing attendees with clear explanations of the main elements and their potential to provide business benefits.

The speakers will then take delegates through their own experiences, demonstrating how they have successfully adopted a particular platform into their online marketing strategies and highlighting the positive impacts on their business. This case study will be complimented by a series of additional examples selected to provide further context for delegates, demonstrating the range of marketing activities that can be supported by Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIN.

Focused on providing practical information, this workshop will enable you to assess which social media platforms are best suited to your businesses and will provide you with a learning pack containing tips and guidance to help you get started.
