Zero Time Web Media Services
Aixi TaylorPreviously to starting Zero Time Web Media Services, Aixi Taylor had gained her Computer Security and Resilience Masters Degree from Newcastle University in 2009. Prior to this, Aixi was an IT Consultant specialising in software Architecture, Design, and System Security with major companies in both China and the UK.
In 2004 Aixi moved to the UK to be with her husband. Originally, her plan was to get a stable job with a bank, a government organisation, or another large enterprise where she could apply her knowledge from her experience and university qualifications. However despite her numerous qualifications and invaluable experience, job hunting proved very difficult during the economic downturn. Disillusioned from applying for jobs and having to sign on Job Seekers Allowance for such a long time, Aixi turned her attention to something that had been her dream for over ten years, and something that she was confident and passionate about - starting her own business.
Aixi's business aims to fill a gap between IT and Media. She helps customers reduce the cost of marketing and web design during the recession period; provide excellent technical and customer services; and promote and brand customers products and services on internet by website or videos. Other services include the design and set up websites, each one individual; design a logo, a banner; print design; internet marketing services including e-Commerce, CMS, blogs, news and events pages, photo gallery and website development for existing sites. Also provided are media and production services for radio, television & corporate videos for the internet and general release.
Zero-Time aims to verify its success by measuring customer's revenue increase.
So far, Aixi states that the hardest part of running her business is actually locating customers, branding themselves and convincing prospective customers they can deliver reliable and trusted services, as Zero-Time is still a relatively new business. In this sector in particular, a good reputation is vitally important to the type of customer that Aixi is looking to attract.
In the future, Aixi would like Zero-Time to be well known, well branded and have the reputation of a highly commendable company in the North East within three years; and eventually over the whole of the UK in five years. Another one of ambitious Aixi's aims is to expand her business worldwide to China and to create numerous job opportunities for local young people with the skills required to help in Aixi and Zero-Time's quest to become a global business.
