Prior to joining Entrust in May 2007, Dan was the first CEO of Business Link Tyne and Wear. After the initial successful merger of two organisations in 2000, Dan led Business Link Tyne and Wear to be the largest organisation of its type in England (outside of London) and one that was a consistent high performer. Ultimately, he played a pivotal role in bringing together and leading the local consortium that won the new regional franchise in 2006.
Prior to that Dan ran his own successful consultancy practice, working in the public, private and third sector nationally and internationally.

Dan has coached, trained and mentored staff and customers at most levels across all sectors.
He is a graduate of Durham University with a MBA from Lancaster and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
